Young Men Full of Heart

The smallest act of kindness is worth more than the grandest intention.” ~ Oscar Wilde

I love seeing stories of young men volunteering in an age when teens are said to be so “heartless and only interested  in themselves.” I am heartened nearly every week when I arrive to volunteer at our  thrift store and food bank called Lift Up and see men helping out. They often do the heavy hoisting- moving shelving  from place to place, toting full cartons for the food bank, loading a tractor trailer of items going elsewhere to be recycled, reused or donated to other community organizations.

There are many good news stories out there about young men helping their neighbors or strangers. Short, inspiring articles are posted right here on this site, Sow the Heart: One Story at a Time.

See you soon!
