When Me Becomes We

Sow the Heart is not a platform for airing political agendas. But as I sat watching the State of the Union address some weeks ago, I pondered how divisiveness is separating our country. Our politicians need to be “right or wrong” has brought damage to the optimism and can-do attitude which has always prevailed among America’s people.

In my opinion, until the good of the American people is put first rather than having the need to push a political party agenda, the status quo of bickering and discord will continue.

Sowing attitudes of  “We Before Me“ or alternatively “Thee Before Me” could perhaps bring change and unity.
