“A brother is a little bit of childhood that can never be lost.” ~ Author Unknown
Happy St. Patty’s Day, Everyone!
The other day I was missing my two brothers. They’re both a great deal of fun to be with. Different as night and day, so are the reasons I like to be with each. What they have in common is their wonderful sense of humor – when I am with them, they keep me in stitches. And I’m very fortunate I don’t feel as if we are on pins and needles when we are together. In fact, across the board, our family is rather lighthearted – perhaps it’s the Irish in us. And as many a good Irishman or woman are, we are storytellers.
Since my siblings aren’t anywhere closeby, the other day I decided I’d spend time at my desk where my long-lost other Brother has taken up residence. I can set up a playdate with him anytime. With each passing day, we are becoming reaquainted.
“It’s time to do some celtic crafting,” I said to my Brother “St. Patty’s Day is just around the corner.” I had the most wonderful time making a luck of the Irish pin-cushion and a patchwork heart.
Before I was finished I decided, “What the hey, I’m going to add a little Irish humor. I hope you can read the quote I’ve attached to the container.
That’s all for now. Have a wonderful wearing of the green today.
