Welcome back! This is part two of three in a series of blogs which explains “ikigai” a Japanese term used to indicate the source of value in one’s life or the things that make one’s life worthwhile. As Vince Lombardi once said, “The quality of a person’s life is in direct proportion to their commitment to excellence, regardless of their chosen field of endeavor.”
For those who know me, art and books are a few things which rank at the top of my interests. So, Fall into Winter, a new art exhibit at Harford Artist Gallery grabbed my attention and my walk to the show one sunny weekend did not disappoint! There is such an interesting mix of mediums in the gallery. I have posted a few photos so you can see what I mean.
(Above photo: I could not find name of the artist of this sweet miniature. The tune
“In my own little corner, in my own little room” started playing in my mind when I saw it.)
A stop by the Harford Artist Gallery is worthwhile in any season but this time of year there are many affordable gift items perfect for holiday giving. All are original works of art, made with pure heart and soul, not mass-manufactured. So a present from the HAG is always something special, unique and appreciated.
