Summer Glory
Summer is good for us! It’s the time when we are busiest with memory making! Abuzz with doing things we don’t ordinarily do during the other seasons of the year. We go about life more actively, eating fresh fruits and vegetables only available this time of year, drinking in the sights and smells of life at a heightened awareness.
One reviewer of “Gift of a Lifetime: Finding Fulfilling Things in the Unexpected“, my award-winning memoir, said “Sue Leonard’s memoir is filled with a summer’s sweet memories of childhood.” It’s fun remembering my youth. Although it may have been the most difficult time in my life, it was also the most beautiful.
This summer will be special for our extended family with several family reunions. I’ll set time aside time to laze, relax and enjoy the seasonal pleasures. It’s the best way to refresh and rejuvenate.
Remember “Memories are the one thing that can never be taken away from us. Make lots of them!” ~ Catherine Pulsifer
