“The smallest good deed is worth a thousand grand intentions.” ~ Unknown
Christmas is still a quarter of a year away. Eva, the woman featured in the video I have posted below, has holiday spirit in her heart year round. Eva’s touching story will put Christmas in your heart today.
I love Operation Christmas Child and have supported the children’s heart fund in a very small way over the past few years. It feels good and right; right down to my insides. The giving options through Samaritan’s Purse are varied and a little can do a lot to provide something joyful on Christmas day to children. I am sure the 2017 catalog will soon be arriving in my mailbox. Or on-line you can learn something about Pack a Shoe Box. Take 5 minutes out of your day to learn about Samaritans Purse and Operation Christmas Child.
I can’t help but admire this centenarian woman in the video. I’ve come to know many good Samaritans through the Delectible Mountain Quilters Guild who are sowing love and generosity through their sewing and teaching their skills to the next generation.
This is the kind of narrative I love sharing on Sow the Heart: One Story at a Time!
