Stitch a Seed or Grow Moss

There were many times throughout the past few years that we women associated with a Christian women’s book project thought our mission would never come to completion. Sometimes it seemed the seeds of an idea had rotted or had stalled, growing only like moss on a rock never to reach it’s full potential.
Like life sometimes happens, all kinds of obstacles got in the way hampering the project. A few writers who had begun the project were unable to continue and new contributing writers had to be found. Other women found it hard to devote time to their writing due to their busy schedules. Yet others found the work emotionally draining and difficult, slowing progress.
Then there were the other typical challenges that come with penning a story such as not getting the words to flow in the right order or bouts of writers block.
Persistance and determination prevailed and faith has carried us through. Now we await the day when we hold in our hands what God had helped twelve women stitch together and achieve. The book is coming!
