Speakin’ about Believin’

“God would not have put a dream in your heart if he hadn’t already given you everything you need to fulfill it.”  ~ Joel Osteen

Meghan and Marc on scooterIf you are a doubter, this true tale may just turn you into a believer. There is no reason to be skeptical – every word is honest to God truthful. It’s enough to affirm my belief  when I turn things over my creator and his wonderous powers life works out as it’s meant to be.

The day of our sons wedding,  I recounted this story to the wedding guests:

As with all expectant parents, when the impending arrival of a dearly desired child came into the picture, a name for our offspring was decided. Marc for a son or Megan for a daughter. Our Marc was born in 1988 and now finally nearly thirty years later, we have a daughter named Meghan.

On their wedding day a few months ago, Marc and Meghan took vows to be husband and wife. But, they will always be brother and sister through the family of man.

Dreams have been fulfilled! And  the blessing of a daughter has come true, too.

I hope you’ll take stock of yours too!
