Silence is Golden

Can you imagine a musician being able to sing in perfect pitch and keeping perfect tempo with a band even though deaf? This is the story of Mandy Harvey. I saw her perform at Strings Music Festival several weeks ago and it was astounding. She’s been featured on America’s Got Talent. Check out the full story on her website.

What an inspiration! Her voice is exquisite and through her ancedotal commentary she motivates the audience to overcome personal barriers, face fears and embrace failure as a way to move forward.  Her joy in music despite profound loss of hearing is so apparent one comes to understand silence is truly the key to introspection and self realization.
