Give your stress wings, and let it fly away. “ – Terri Guillemets

Moxie sat on a bench in the park feeling as if the whole world was against her.  She watched a butterfly flit from flower to flower so effortlessly. She’d heard one of her many guardians throughout her childhood refer to the Dance of the Butterfly. But at the time she was too young to absorb what the woman was referring to.

In that moment Moxie decided it was time to move. There was no rhyme nor reason to her decision except she felt deep down inside if she didn’t do something to help herself she’d suffer the consequence.

She packed her worldly possessions, which fit into one duffel bag, and began to walk the railroad track which led from Kellenville to Hopewell. What she didn’t know was her life would change in ways she couldn’t have predicted or foreseen…

More about the metamorphosis that came from meeting two life altering characters Eunice and Mildred is in the narrative Sew the Heart. It’s from award-winning author Sue Batton Leonard and a story of stitched together friendships women of all ages will appreciate.
