Articles both support and reject the connection between healing and prayer. However, in my opinion just believing in the benefits of prayer gives a person hope. Afterall, the mind is a very powerful thing.
Could it be when medical professionals pray together it gives an extra measure of reassurance to the patient that they are in good hands? Possibly! I suppose it depends on each patient’s attitude towards prayer.
