Some years ago, all things fulfilling came to Dallas Clayton, an author who writes children’s books on encouragement. Although his books are written for kids, the motivating messages in them are for people of all ages.

If you are you a baby boomer who has lived complacently, it’s never too late to change course and begin to live life a little differently. If you don’t know what complacency looks like, good for you! Perhaps that means you’ve always lived fervently. But if you are curious what complacently could look like, this video will explain it.

Retirement is a great time for a second act. Don’t be held back by your own wrong assumptions about your own abilities or by what people might think. We all have only one life to live, so take risks and enjoy!

I love hearing stories about individuals who decide to harness her own inner critic and begin new journeys of things they’ve always wanted to. It’s exactly how my writing began some ten years ago. Life has never been the same since, and its been nearly all joy-filled because every day holds new opportunity to make discoveries and find the next story.
