If Truth Be Told

“Pretty much all the honest truth telling there is in the world is done by children.”  — Oliver Wendell Holmes, author and poet

Parents, do you remember many of the words of your child? I do, but I only had one kid to keep up with. Although I did not write many of his most funny/touching/awe-inspiring words down, I will never forget them they were so memorable. He was a wonderful communicator even at a young age, and still is and that is a good thing. God blessed him with what he needs as an adult. His good communication skills are greatly needed in his profession.

Today, it gave me much joy to read these words of two different children. Each written from their own perspective, the words remind me how simple thoughts from a child can be even more effective than an adults in grabbing one’s attention.
