Habitats and Homes
“That man is richest whose pleasures are cheapest.” ~Henry David Thoreau
In some places around the world, happiness means having a roof over one’s head with running water and shoes to put on one’s feet when rising in the morning. It’s the most extravagant existence it’s inhabitants could ever fathom.
Research has shown living a fulfilling life means having the basics and having more wealth does not increase satisfaction in our lives proportionately. We don’t need as much as we think to possess happiness.
Next month I’ll take a short jaunt within the United States that will allow me the opportunity to see how people live in other places without stepping onto an airplane.
I look forward to blogging about my experience and sharing what I learn with our readers. It’s guaranteed to uplift your heart and mine!
