Go in Good Faith
I’m gladdened by a story New York Times Best Selling author Jon Katz posted on his Bedlam Farm blog this week. The good news item is a demonstration of the generosity of spirit of ordinary Americans.
I met Katz some years back when I participated in a literary event in Vermont, and have been following his career as an author ever since. In his blog he often writes about Maria Wulf, his wife, and their life together as artists and soulmates.
Maria is a fiber artist who makes quilts and potholders. She and her art are beginning to find their place in the world. According to Katz’ Bedlam Farm blog and Maria’s Full Moon Fiber Arts blog, a call out through Indiegogo to raise money so Maria can visit India on a humanitarian mission has been very successful. Please visit both websites to understand the full story and the purpose behind Maria’s travels.
The contributions have been successfully been rolling in from people in all parts of the country. Maria’s wishes to travel to far off lands will be fulfilled.
Have a wonderful trip Maria, and go in good faith that many believe in your humanitarian mission.
