Friendship: No Age Limitations

On Sunday a blast from the past contacted me. I was so delighted to hear from my friend with whom I had lost contact for a couple of decades. She was the most youthful one in my circle of my friends after the college years, before I married. And despite the age difference, she melded in beautifully with all of us.

After a little chit-chat back and forth through social media, we both agreed that it will take us at least a week to catch up on the occurences in our lives since we were last in contact.

Thank you, my friend, for reaching out! It means so much I have not been forgotten despite the years and distance between us.

I hope in the future we will have a meeting-up along the journey of life.
