“When you recover or discover something that nourishes your soul and brings joy, care enough about yourself to make room for it in your life. “ – Jean Shinoda Bolen
We’ve all heard expressions like “we can’t take care of others if we don’t take care of ourselves” A few weeks ago I asked myself when was the last time I did something for pure enjoyment? I decided a few hours out and about was overdue. So, I put on my agenda to seek and find Bears Paw Fabric Shop.
What a find! A shop with a beautiful kaleidoscope of fabrics, quilts, and everything a sewer/quilter could possibly want. But there was so much more at the soul of the store! An exceptionally warm and open business owner, Judy Munro. She welcomed me as a newcomer to her store to sit down and chat.
Today, on Sow the Heart, I’d like to share a little of my visit through some images that struck my spirit while I scouted out the store and took a journey into the heart of a fabric store in a community where I grew up!
