No, I didn’t venture off to Disneyland or Disney World. I went to the local theater instead and saw Christopher Robin. Who better to accompany me than an childhood friend? (I was going to say an old childhood friend, but she may take exception to that! Besides if I tag my pal as old I’m really old ’cause I’m three years her senior).
In keeping with his nature Pooh shares lots of “bearly” wisdom in the film. Between me and you I think Pooh’s meaningful messages are meant for adults, rather than children. Briefly, so as not to be a spoiler, I came away from the movie feeling as if my decision to do a little something for myself was not a selfish action. We adults need to remember to always find the joy in the journey!
