Creative Endeavors
My mom was a very strong role model. In fact her name, Helen, means shining light. And there have been other women who throughout my lifetime have served as valuable mentors, too.
The most influential have echoed the same basic philosophy my mom had about life. She always said “go with the ebb and flow of life.” In the words of Deepak Chopra, “Don’t try to steer the river.” I like to think of it as letting go and letting the one with higher power do HIS work and trusting in it.
It’s taken me nearly a life time to fully understand this concept but what a difference this has made. It’s created an environment where life is more fulfilling and even my creative endeavors are being manifest.
