From all Moxie observed, the old woman seemed to be the epitome of being stitched together right. So it came as a surprise when one day, out of the blue, Miss Mildred said to Moxie “Sweetheart, let me give you a give you a piece of advice about the fabric of life. This I have learned from experience. Make sure you build a life for yourself that not only looks good on the outside but feels good on the inside, too.” It would be many years until Moxie had a clue what the old woman was referring to.

The day it dawned on her what the old woman was talking about, Moxie began her healing creatively, one stitch at a time.
