Autumnal Migration

Someone once said “Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall.”

Soon I am going to settle in and experience life in Bel Air, right smack dab in the Heart of Harford County. Back in June the town captured my attention. Its officially designated as a Main Street America community and also on the list of HEAL Citys and Towns (Healthy Eating, Active Living communities in the mid-Atlantic).

October is National Arts and Humanities Month. What a fitting time it will be to move to another community whose focus includes integrating the arts in lives to boost wellness. My previous place of residence for ten years, Steamboat Springs, Colorado, also had a Main Street America designation and was known as a “creative community.” Creative communities, they rock!

If you read my first blog about Bel Air in June you will remember how I discovered Liriodendron Mansion and the warm reception I got when I visited. Who wouldn’t look forward to returning?

There will be much more to share about this hospitable town. It’s a place I anticipate will begin take up space in my heart very quickly. Stay tuned.
