Art and Heart
I love to see art and heart come together! Last Saturday I participated in a community event to celebrate Independent Bookstore Day. It was heartwarming to see people bring non-perishable food donations into the Harford Art Gallery where I was set up with a book signing for the most recent book I authored titled Richard Galusha: An Artists Journey. The food drop container was filled beyond capacity and it felt good to help out the mission work of the Bel Air United Methodist Church. This community of Bel Air, MD is indeed generous.
I love to stitch words together through my writing but I also like to stitch fibers together. I was able to preview one of my needle felted fiber art pieces in my display.
On Friday, September 7th a few other of my needle felted creations will be at Harford Art Gallery when they open a new exhibit. I’m excited, but more about it later!!
