Angels Among Us
When angels visit us, we do not hear the rustle of wings, nor feel the feathery touch of the breast of a dove; but we know their presence by the love they create in our hearts. ~MARY BAKER EDDY, Poems by Mary Baker Eddy
During this week before Christmas I’d like to pay homage to everyday angels among us.
*The vet who leaves a civilian life to protect and defend our country.*
*Those who care for the sick and the elderly.*
*The pet who lays it’s knowing head in the laps of those who are grieving.*
*The family who embraces another mouth to feed even though they have little.*
*The one who sees a need and quietly fills it.*
*The firefighter who saves a life in a burning building.*
*The one who works in a soup kitchen.*
Angels greet us and walk with us on the street everyday.
Let’s not forget them in all the fluff of the holidays.
