An Awakening of Hope
Spring shows what God can do with a drab and dirty world. ~Virgil A. Kraft
On Easter Sunday I said to my husband, “Let’s go down to the Botanic Park and have a look-see what’s coming up in the gardens.” He was agreeable. It was as good a day as any. The sun was shining and it was relatively warm for an April day in the mountains.
The few patches of color were standouts among the unawakened parts of the garden. I can well understand why Spring is called The Season of Hope. Even one single flower gives promise there is more to follow.
Today we are back to chilly temps with a little snow in the higher elevations. A good day to stay put and work on a project. There will be plenty of other days to spend outdoors.
