A Call and An Answer
“There is a LIGHT in this world…We sometime lose sight of this force…Then suddenly, the spirit will emerge through the lives of ordinary people who hear a call and answer in extraordinary ways.” ― Richard Attenborough
Lewis and Lorrae Moon are sheparding an inspiring business vision far from the maddening crowd! Although located in remote northwest Colorado, Yampa Valley Fiberworks is stitching together a strong community of people through the fiber arts. Faith, heart and soul, is at the center of Yampa Valley Fiberworks aligning with my own entrepreneurial spirit.
With great gladness last weekend a book signing and tea was held at Yampa Valley Fiberworks for Sew the Heart. My hope for the book is to encourage the continuation of the fiber arts in America and stir an interest in young people. The fiber arts are so much a part of our country’s heritage.
Today I’m sharing images of Yampa Valley Fiberworks sheep ranching and fiber production and the husband and wife team at the center of it all. The pictures tell the story!
Below Photo -The energy source comes from the husband and wife team of Lewis & Lorrae Moon. They are quick to tell their visitors/customers they couldn’t do it without each other. Lorrae oversees the retail operations, and he the production and the machinery. However, I very much got the feeling that one hand helps the other in all phases of the business.
I had a delightful afternoon and wish to say thank you to those who came for the book signing and tea. Your interest in my books encourages my entrepreneurial spirit as a writer and independent publisher!
Thanks again, Lorrae & Lewis. I shall return soon!
