The Blessings of a Mature Heart
“You cannot teach a person anything; you can only help him find it within himself.” – Galileo
Some people discover their natural abilities in life early, and others much later. Everyone’s life journey is different. It’s been said “God gives us what we need at the right time,” and my own case, I can’t argue the thought. My passion for writing never came until late in life when I became an empty-nester.
A few weeks ago, I wrote about young Thomas J. Herr, Jr. a pianist and chalk artist. From all I have read about his accomplishments he seems to have been born with a mature heart. For him to be so self-directed at the age of 19 is very inspirational. To me this indicates he will have a wealth of insight and talent to share with others throughout his lifetime.
I received this lovely email from him recently.
“Hi Sue,
I am honored to be featured on your blog! I subscribed to your blog as you have some wonderful, inspiring, and uplifting content on your website! Congratulations on your books as well. I started writing a book, and perhaps I will be able to use some of your tips when I get to the publishing process. I pray that God will continue to bless you in your publishing endeavors, and that you will be able to reach many hearts with your heart-felt message!
