“A merry heart doeth good like a medicine.” – Proverbs 17:22
In my last post of 2020, I ended by saying it was “time to make Christmas.” Well, I very literally meant it. My home became Santa’s workshop. Because I wanted to contribute to the solution rather than add to the problem of virus spreading, I stayed away from stores.
All Xmas gifts in 2020 were handmade at home or I gifted family heirlooms.
Fortunate was I that I had a bit of a headstart because what I wanted to give to my three siblings was a book they hadn’t yet read that I had penned. It was published by Wild Horse Gallery about a year ago and won a book award. For more information, click on the link!
In my gift making I was kept busy with all kinds of arts and crafts I enjoy. I knitted, sewed (by hand and machine), baked and made things with findings from nature. I put my whole heart into whatever I was creating for young and old alike! It gave me a warm feeling.
Come on back in three days time, I have something I created for SowtheHeart.com which I want to introduce you to!
