Dandelion Tea

How We Look at Things

“Some people need flowers, some people need dandelions. It’s medicine, it’s what you need at that time in your life.” Sandra Cisneros

It’s that time of year! The green grass will soon be sprinkled with yellow flowers. For some people, the arrival of dandelions becomes the bane of their existence. Others welcome the yellow bulbous posies and see them as a sign of rebirth and renewal.

Did you know dandelions, the earliest spring flower also represents:

  • Clarity
  • Healing
  • Growth
  • Joy
  • Vibrancy
  • Communication

Those are all life affirming things!

So, next time you think of a daffodil as a little yellow devil in a field of green, consider it’s symbolic meaning.
