Yet To Do List
0 HAPPY 2021! I’ve decided to make a different sort of New Years resolution list this year. My goal is to start with a blank slate and see if I can fill it up with things I have Never Done Before.
Can you honestly say you’ve surprised yourself overwhelmingly many times in your life? Ten years ago I made a move that came with life changing consequences. As a non-writer I set my sights on penning a memoir and it came with unexpected good results. I learned I love to write and had some latent creativity just screaming to be unleashed. You know what? It felt good to step way out of one’s comfort zone, risk it and accomplish something novel for myself. It emboldened me to seek out other opportunities for further personal growth and creative endeavors.
Taking a leap of faith is scary and doing those things that have never been done before teaches us valuable lessons. The biggest challenge is to retrospectively look at leaps of faith square in the face and recognize them for what they were.
So what am I going to do that I’ve never done before? Don’t ask me! Not knowing is part of the journey!
