
Spring in the Heart

Last Friday, just when I was celebrating the fact that almost all snow had finally melted in lower elevations, Mother Nature visited once more. She brought a bag full of white and laid it all out over the place like quilters do when they are about to back their creations with soft, puffy stuff.
I was so looking forward to the prospect of daffodils and the greening of the landscape. What’s a gal to do? In protest, I put on the brightest sweater I own, lime green and created my own spring fling indoors.
It lifted my spirits; I settled in and worked all day with gladness in my heart on one of my upcoming publications.
