Ahh… don’t you just love this picture?

When you see such demonstrations of all encompassing love after a mother gives birth it makes you wonder how life can get so messy and how relationships between parents and children can go so wrong.

I wonder if we human beings would treat our family members any differently if we knew their expiration dates on the day of their birth. Do you think we’d work harder at getting it right each and every day?  I wonder.
