Productive in Winter
It has been a productive winter and it feels really good.
It’s so easy to fall into the winter doldrums and be derelict in even the most mundane daily tasks. Then when one comes out of “wintering” we feel overwhelmed by things let go.
For me, tiding and doing away with household items that are just sitting, taking up space but not being used, brings clarity which has helped me wrap up loose threads that have been woven into the Neighbor to Neighbor Series storyline. I’ve come to a fulfilling conclusion for Book #3. But the work is not done…on to revisions which is a process I enjoy. I’m growing pleased with the manuscript and where the fun and creative characters have led the narrative.
There is a natural feeling of starting anew in spring isn’t there? So even if every closet, cabinet and storage space has not been put to order, we feel more energetic just because of seasonal change. Clearheaded always feels so much better than brain fog, doesn’t it?
