Yes, the storm did run out of rain on the second day of visiting my old stomping grounds in Stowe, Vermont. I was drawn into a world of color at Northwood Gallery on Main Street.
The art glass was so beautifully placed. Strategically, to capture the light ray’s pouring in the windows from many angles.
Fiber arts, pottery, jewelry, wooden wares, art prints all very finely crafted made me remember what I have always loved about Vermont.
As I think back to my 1970’s college days in the Green Mountain State, everything made in Vermont and especially their vast selection of artisan-made foods, has always been unlike what you see in retail stores in metropolitan areas.
Vermont has been exquisitely unordinary for a full spectrum of reasons for a long, long time! The state has got to be experienced before it can really appreciated and deeply felt by the heart.
