It’s Little Things: Lifting-Up

The other day I was dawdling. The weather was drizzly and a bit on the dark side and I was less enthusiastic than I normally am about taking my morning walk. Thus, running late to get out the door.

The true meaning of “we rise by lifting others up” was clearly demonstrated by three gals full of good morning cheer and thanks to them, Country Villagers, Chic-Fil-A and Xfinity, I had a “walk-by breakfast.” They couldn’t have made it any easier, they were standing right across the street handing out a little sustenance to start the day including bottled sunshine to residents, walking and driving by.

I got my “grab and go” from the gals, put it back in the oven to keep it warm and tasty, and set off for my morning walk which was filled with ponderings of how it really is the little things like that which lift others up! Thank you Country Village, Chick-fil-A and Xfinity!
