Victory Each Day
Yes, it is that time of year again – November, the month of Thanksgiving. Rather than the usual emphasis we place on being thankful for food, friends and a roof over our heads lets challenge ourselves to find our own personal victories in each and every day of the eleventh month.
Before you go to sleep think about your day, and give yourself a pat on the back for at least one small victory. It may be something as simple as you changed a bad habit by tackling a project right away rather than putting it in procrastination pile for later. Or may be you’ve decided not to spout out your complaints but instead will replace them with a positive thought. Maybe you didn’t let your impulsiveness lead you to doing something that you should not have done.
It’s important to be thankful for these small victories in behavior because they sow seeds of good feelings in our selves, how we are leading our lives and they motivate us for the next victory knowing that we can do it. We can do hard things or things we thought we weren’t capable of when one small success leads to another.
“In all things give thanks!”
