Threads of a Story

Now that we have rung in the New Year have you anything exciting up your sleeve for 2023?

I do! Some weeks before Christmas, I was drawn into one of those scrambled word puzzles where the first four words you see in the mixed up mess will be your “Mantra for 2023.”  Of course, my curiosity got the better of me and I played along.

The four words which appeared to me first stirred around in my mind all day long, as words often do, because I am nearly always thinking about threads I want to carry through in whatever narrative I am writing.

So rather than disregard the four words I’ll look forward to s-t-r-e-t-c-h-i-n-g myself in new directions in this grand adventure – called LIFE OF A WRITER.
