Happy Mother’s Day to anyone who has played a maternal role to any child, big or small.

This image strikes a chord in my heart because it reminds me of my mother.

Mom says “as soon as I and my twin sister arrive for a visit, we both do the same thing.We walk about the house taking in the rooms as if we’ve never been there before.” It’s because her home is made so pretty by her special touches. I’m interested to see what’s new that wasn’t there since the last time of my coming. The lavishness in her fulfilling life is created by the extra effort she takes in making her home comfortable and welcoming!

Today I celebrate my mom from a distance. This picture makes me feel as if I am a little closer to home!
