What do artists do when there is only a two hour window to sketch and paint? Luckily on historic Main Street in Bel Air, MD there are many charming spots to chose from. So you work speedily and try to be pleasant to all the onlookers!
And if you have a little sister, you grab her, and have her paint too! This 8 year old joined in on the action with her teenage sister, painting the castle-like landmark in town – the Armory! If I’m not mistaken, big sister took a chance to paint little sister in action. Am I right?
Today I’d like to thank all the artists for letting me take photos of their work. If I missed an artist or did not talk with you, my apologizes. I was racing around taking photos because the paintings were being quickly sold on the spot and headed for their new homes. I would have loved to have showcased full-sized photos rather than collages but there are space constraints on this platform.
It was a beautiful morning and fabulous paintings were the result.
Great job, everyone. I enjoyed seeing all the inspiring work!
