It’s April Fools Day! Doesn’t it seem like the past few years have been one big prank? For me and other authors, opportunities to mix with the public have been slim to none with COVID-19 restrictions. But, that’s ok, life is precious and if the social distancing spared some lives, that is a wonderful thing.
Public events and such are opening up now, and April 2022 will bring three events to my calendar. I, and other local authors will have the opportunity to get out into the community to a book fair for the senior population of people who are often isolated. Here are the details:
I’d like to say thank you to Brightview Senior Living in Bel Air, MD for making this opportunity on April 8th available! I look forward to it.
Also, on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 I will be participating in a Local Author Showcase at the Perry Hall branch of Baltimore County Public Library from 6pm to 8pm.
Showcasing of all of my books will be fun, but particularly my Neighbor to Neighbor Series – Book #1 Sew the Heart and the newly published book #2 Heart of Community! See you there!!
In an upcoming blog I’ll tell you about the third upcoming event on my calendar which will be a little bit later in April.
